On May 19th, Prof. I-Soo Joe gave a presentation titled 'Kaichi Soda, the Father of Orphan' at Sun-Sa-Mo.

Kaichi Soda is the only Japanese enshrined in Yanghwajin, and he has shown unspeakable devotion to Korean orphans and Koreans during the Japanese colonial era.

Kaichi Soda, who came to believe in Christianity because of his wife, raised and educated abandoned children with love, and later raised them into children who fought for independence. Also, because of it, he suffered hardship under the Japanese occupation.

Currently, many Koreans have bad feelings with Japan. And the question 'How should we the Christians view Japan?' from professor Joe resonated our hearts greatl, and it was a time to rethink about how we should view them.
