Q) Which is this country?
A country inseparable from our history, a country which is one of the world's superpowers. Yes, it is 'China'.
In this forum, Professor Minho Ma of the School of International Studies, Languages and Literature gave a lecture under the title of 'China and China Mission, Misunderstanding and Understanding'!
The professor's lecture was amazing to the extent that 1 hour of lecture felt like 10 minutes.
The main contents are:
1) Understanding China
2) The Chinese government's position on religion, especially Christianity
3) China from a Missionary Perspective
In particular, if China will be the world's largest Christian country, it is estimated that there will be around 150 to 200 million Christians.
However, because with the reasons of lacking of professional missionary trainings, having not enough money to send missionaries,
and due to the Chinese government's oppression, people in china are in a situation where they are worshiping by creating a church centering on a house-church.
Therefore, our mission strategy is to 1) acknowledge that the mission of the Chinese diaspora is important, and 2) humbly recognize the Chinese church as a partner in world missions. Meanwhile, the professor was concerned that the MZ generation's feelings toward China were not that good, and he wanted the next generation to have a greater passion for missionary work in China.
This time was also another wonderful time. We pray that It was also a very good time. I pray that Chinese missions will become more active in the future.
