I can tell you one thing for sure. That is, "God is good."
On October 11, 2022, the Missionary Forum was held with Yoo Seong-hee, a missionary who is conducting educational missions for high school students in Malawi.
Missionary Yoo currently lives in the U.S. and is providing scholarships and dormitory fees to 1,800 Malawi high school students by covering missionary expenses through personal business.
She is a non-resident/fundraising missionary who often goes to Malawi but does not live there. In addition, although it is a unique ministry model, such as hosting a "Bible School" in Malawi through volunteers in the United States, she is doing a very meaningful ministry.
In particular, during the pandemic, the number of students who had to be sponsored in Malawi continued to increase, and they heard God's voice through fasting prayers, and since then, as many as 500 individual sponsors have appeared to help students.
Missionary Yoo Seong-hee is a business woman who did not study theology, studied business management at university, worked for a company for a long time, and did personal business.
Therefore, she introduced what she was doing locally, that she was currently building a community center in Malawi, and that she was experiencing the grace that God gave her in time. In addition, as a anyone in Handong, she challenged to serve the local area with what anyone can do well, as it may be a related major, sewing, or car maintenance.
It was a time to receive new cooperation and challenges through the missionary. Thank you missionary Yoo for making such a great time, and it was a time to pledge to study harder in the future. Thank you!
